She realised she could sing at a very tender age. At an age where most of us could probably be glued on watching cartoons or outside playing hide and seek. She’s of a unique music genre and authentic vocals. Meet her in our interview!

Briefly, tell us who you are

I’m Prudence Mukoya

You look like an outgoing type, what do you do with your leisure?

I love swimming, directing films, making up, dressing , shopping. Cooking, playing games.

When did you realize you could sing?

I realised i love singing back in class 4..my motivation was school choir back then
My journey has been quite smooth since id do it for fun and entertainment buh when i decided i can use it to earn money as a bussiness its quite a different story

What has been your best experience in this industry?

My experience…well I won an online music show last year and have been recording since.

What gives you confidence in your passion for music?

I am an upcoming artist..and what gives me psyche is i know my voice is unique and my type of music is rare in this side of the earth, thats what gives me the Confidence

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years or so?

I see myself as a big film icon in terms of music
,theatre, music videos and other stuff in general.

Apart from music, what else do you do?

I model, I act, I swim, I write, I do film Production.

Kenyan music is a genre of its own.it explores the daily lifestyle of kenyans and 90%relatable to kenyans only

Blessed is a song i wrote back in highschool…it portrays a beat of emotional breakdown of a worshipper and the thirst of encouragement and uplifting the most high…its a song I wrote in a deep moment of my life.
