Tell us briefly about yourself
My name is Mogomotsi Gladden Mafora, born in Pretoria city in Gauteng, South Africa but being raised in Limpopo, I go by the stage name Sodam. I am a 20 year old rapper who’s determined and putting extra work in music.
When did you start rapping?
I started doing music in 2017 October.
What inspires you the most?
My background is what inspires my music most of the time.

Whom do you look up to in the music industry?
Artists like A-reece, Nasty c, Emtee and priddy.
If you were to collaborate with either Nasty C or A-reece, whom would you choose?
Nasty c because I think I relate a lot to his music and the style of music he is doing is great and an inspiration including his videos and everything, he’s a hard worker and brings good quality to his fans/people. I like his work.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself touring in different countries, sharing my music, bringing the energy and the quality of my music to them, I see myself having my own Record label to grow hip-hop in my country too as a manager who will be making other Young artists/upcoming to achieve their dreams, to live their dreams.
Any advice to young aspiring artists
Never give up and keep on pushing your music. Never let negative vibes bring you down.

Never give up on your dreams, keep pushing you can do what you are determined to do, do what you love…grind until you get it. Nothing will stop you. Invest in yourself. Make yourself up and never let someone blind you from your dreams with lies/negativity.
