World Bank Group Youth Summit 2024 Pitch Competition Now Open

Following the resounding success of its 10th edition, the World Bank Group Youth Summit returns for its 11th installment, centered on the theme of Digital Transformation. Scheduled for May 30th – 31st, 2024, this global event will unite thousands of participants from across the globe, both in different regions and at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington DC.

The Summit’s Mission: The World Bank Group Youth Summit is the largest annual gathering of youth (aged 18-35), aiming to empower young minds to explore innovative ideas, provide tools for impactful projects, and foster dialogue between youth and key stakeholders worldwide.

Theme and Subthemes: Under the overarching theme of “Powering Progress: Youth Leading the Digital Transformation,” the Summit will spotlight youth leveraging technology to address development challenges. Aligned with the World Bank’s Digital Development Practice, the event will delve into three key subthemes:

1. Digital Access and Inclusion
2. Artificial Intelligence
3. Sustainable Technology for a Livable Planet

Why It Matters: In today’s rapidly evolving world, digital technologies offer unparalleled opportunities to address global challenges and drive progress.
