I HEARD THAT SHE HEARD
I heard that she heard,
Of the love that I found,
Of the happiness that came my way,
Of the Peace she failed to give.
I reminisce of the frequent strifes,
That were born out of slight slip-ups ,
I also recall the many insecurities,
That were accompanied by broken trusts.
I heard that she heard,
Of my current one,
Of her curvaceous physique,
Of her exquisite visage,
Of her cute smiles akin the sunrise.
I recall our dead past,
Her toxic wave had swallowed me,
Stress and grimace were my visitors,
She served them well, she did.
I heard that she heard,
That she cooks better,
That she is submissive,
That her demeanor is glued with loyalty,
That Stretch from here to Timbuktu.
I however miss her voice,
How dare I? I don’t!
She was loud,
Whenever we had a calm sweet talk,
I still felt like she was arguing.
I heard that she heard,
My current is soft and polite,
She sprays her words with composure,
And massages every letter with politeness.
What she heard is true,
We encounter toxicity, we learn,
We meet new ones, we move,
We experience love, we stay,
Happily ever after, we live.
