Cecilia Mwangi

Cecilia Mwangi was Miss World Kenya 2005 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

 

Cecilia does fashion and commercial modelling as well as being an activist.

 

She was involved in the ant-Jigger campaign in central Kenya as the project ambassador.

 

Cecilia has also efficaciously led several other charitable events.

 

As a fashion and commercial model, she is one of the few models in Kenya who kept addressing societal problems as her main agenda.

 

Her works in creating positive change in the society gained her recognition from the University of Nairobi’s Women Students’ Welfare Association.

 

Other projects that Cecilia has been involved in include the school for homeless and orphaned kids. This school teaches performing arts and has a music production studio

 

The other community project she is involved in is at Mukuru Kayaba, a slum in Nairobi. She helps them with self-help projects and educates them on reproductive health.

Ajuma Nasenyana

Ajuma Nasenyana is a Kenyan model who is renowned in the fashion industry as a glamour model. She has been famous for working for the world’s renowned lingerie brands Victoria’s Secret. Not to mention, she has also worked for the designer such as Carlos Mienes to name some.

 

This renowned model was born in the wonderful place of Turkana District, Lodwar, Kenya. As a result, she is a Kenyan model who belongs to the black ethnicity. Her parents were the ones who motivated Ajuma, no matter what obstacle. That might be the reason why she has been able to be this famous at an early age.

 

Being a model Ajuma stands tall at the height of 5 feet 10 inches or 178 cm. Her bust measures about 84 cm or 33 inches, her waist about 64 cm or 25 inches, hips about 91 cm or 36 inches. On top of that, she is blessed to have short black hair paired with a pair of brown eyes.

 

In the year 2003, this model was seen in the Miss Tourism Kenya competition. During that time, she was crowned as Miss Nairobi and got to know about Lyndsey McIntyre of Surazuri Modeling Agency. After that, a Gamma Photo Agency approached her to do a story on McIntyre’s scouting work where she was mainly featured.

Malaika Firth

Malaika was born on 23rd March 1994, in Mombasa Kenya. The model is 5’9’’ tall. Firth started to model when she relocated from Kenya to Britain at the tender age of 17. Although she was born in Kenya, Malaika now operates from Britain. At this age, Firth was signed to model under the Premier Model Management. When Firth was 19 years old, she made history by becoming the 1st black model to score a Prada campaign.

Evelyn Njambi

The former Miss Kiambu County 2016 and reigning Miss world Kenya has engaged in various charitable activities countrywide, including supporting children to access quality education. She has worked with the Red Cross Chapter in Kiambu to donate text books and uniform to children, as well as sanitary towels to girls all over Kenya.

She also made it to The Top 5 of the world’s fairest.

Charity Mwangi

Mwangi, Former Miss world Kenya 2015 and an Agricultural Resource Management graduate from Kenyatta University started a personal campaign dubbed ‘Mtoto Aishi initiative” that turned a painful experience into a beautiful cause that aims to educate mothers, nannies and child caregivers on first aid to avert infant death in domestic accidents.
