UNPATCHED UP LOVE

I recall those times when red used to be our favorite color
When white reminded us of our Saturday shoots
When green drove us back to how we had first taken each other’s breath away
And how pink drew our minds to the ice cream shop
But now look at us
Look at the consequences of our blundering
Thought I should write this to you
So that you could tell how tender my blood is
And how it yearns to be home
For home is where my heart is
We’re now miles and phone calls away
Knowing am on my left path
And though you’ve seen my frown part
Seems you don’t wanna restart
