“WE FAILED TO PERFORM AT THE WASAFI FESTIVAL BUT WATCH OUT FOR 31ST AT THE NRG WAVE CONCERT!!!”

They were set for a performance at the greatest event WASAFI FESTIVAL 2018 but due to unavoidable circumstances, they couldn’t get on stage. The SDC dance crew has created a web of hyped fans and has grown across boarders. We get upclose with one of the dancers!

The Youthing Magazine: Tell us about yourself

Pse: On my birth certificate you’ll find the name as “Paul Jeremy ernest” but my street hommies and fans in general call me p.s.e the FuTuRe. I’m a dancer all the way from SimpledanceCamp in mombasa, but beside dancing am also a musician and a young entrepreneur.

The Youthing Magazine: When did you start dancing?

Pse: I can’t remember exactly but I think when I was 5 years or so. Dancing is in my veins it just came naturally.

The Youthing Magazine: Hahaha, did you ever had a dream of becoming a doctor , lawyer or any other high profession?

Pse: Yeah (chuckles) obvious. I wanted to become an engineer but engineering didn’t want me, at all.

The Youthing Magazine: interesting, does your parents support your dancing passion?

Pse: At first they didn’t, and am sure 99% of talented youths out there can relate to this but since I never gave up and kept my hopes high, they were forced to agree and they now support me. I’m humbled for that.

The Youthing Magazine: Nice, if you weren’t dancing, what else would you be doing?

Pse: Sleeping (laughs) jokes aside …to be honestly there is nothing I can do without a bit of dance in it, but to be precise maybe I would be a business man.

The Youthing Magazine: Whats the best thing that happened to you this year

Pse: The love I received from different places where we went to perform. The love was so massive, it made me want to live my whole life and die on stage.

The Youthing Magazine: Who Inspires you?

Pse: Everyone that is working hard each and every day inspires me. I get inspirations from different people.

The Youthing Magazine: What have you planned for the NRG show on 31st?

Pse: We always do magic. so on 31st expect nothing less than wonders. Still on that note, I would like to apologise to everyone that was expecting to see us in wasafi festival perform live. Those who followed closely knew what happened…I was seriously sick and due to the love that we share in SDC my dance mates couldn’t perform without me, but God willing on 31st we will make history.

The Youthing Magazine: Any advice to aspiring dancers?

Pse: Never let go of what you love. Nobody can do it the way you do it…get up, let’s make the change. We are actually the main thing when it comes to entertainment but most of us don’t know yet. so let’s get up and make history.

The Youthing Magazine: Good advice, if you had one message to pass to your fans what would it be?

Pse: I thank them for their support. There is no SimpleDC official without them and we promise better things in 2019.

The Youthing Magazine: Your last words

Pse: I thank the Almighty God and everyone that has been there for us in 2018. I thank The youthing Magazine for their support. Great things are coming in 2019. watch out!
